"The Zymo Research's EZ DNA Methylation Kits (part D5002 and D5004) are relatively easy to use. The instruction manuals are detailed with a quick background of the methodology, a list of the consumables, reagent preparation, protocol, and optimization tips. The instructions weren't bogged down by extraneous details, but enough information for a quick overview and usage instructions. I started off using the spin-column kits of D5002, but I realized that when processing 32 samples at a time, using individual tubes was not optimal for my time. I would recommend this kit if you just have a few reactions to run at a time. I progressed to the 2x96 reaction kit of D5004. I was happy I could use the multichannel pipettes for streamlining my work process. I contacted Zymo's tech support for suggestions from using kits D5002 and D5004; they were very helpful in my transition between the two kits. In both cases, my methylated products produced robust and consistent results in my microarray experiments."
