We have used Twist Bioscience for our gene synthesis since 2018 - their gene inserts, cloning services, and stock plasmid vectors work great. They are our go-to reagents for protein expression in bacteria and mammalian cells, as well as for lentiviral packaging. The pricing is fair, and the speed and quality of the service is unbeatable. Twist Bioscience were exceptional - especially their customer service. I recently ordered 2 genes to be synthesised and cloned into in expression vectors - and when they arrived, I suddenly realised I had made a mistake in one of them with the wrong antibiotic resistance and I emailed for advice on how to clone it out and clone in the right one- Twist simply replied and said not to worry - mistakes happen - and they made the order for me again in the correct vector free of charge - this was amazing, especially because I am an early career PI just starting my group. Brilliant service!
